Laurie is the owner of New Age Esthetics and is a nurse practitioner trained in providing cosmetic procedures with neurotoxins and dermal fillers by Aesthetic Medical Education Training (AMET) and the Audrey Rose Institute of Medical Aesthetics.
Laurie developed an interest in aesthetics while working as an oncology nurse practitioner and became more aware of the distress her chemotherapy patients experienced with such dramatic changes in their hair and skin. This led her to a deeper understanding that one’s beliefs about their own beauty play a significant role in emotional and psychological well-being.
